Sugar Clematis Wedding Cake (Framed)

Premise 

Each cake design is a journey into the imagination and in some ways, perhaps, a portrait of the mind of its maker.

Ok Jardan! I just wanted to take a minute to send over your cake design and concept. We went with the scale we discussed. For the fondant background I borrowed from the lightest color in your palette paired with the dress in the bouquet image. I knew you loved the cake with the bomb sugar flower arrangements. I went back on forth on doing a cascade arrangement, but instead went with these dripping sorts of flower arrangements. When I look at your Instagram profile you seem like as a person you are very alive. Have a lot of movement and I wanted to translate that to flowers dancing on the tiers. I borrowed clematis and greenery from the bouquet that has dripping greenery. Did a mix of greens but kept referring to your palette. I like the angular shapes of the clematis. There is a light almost white color and also a magenta. I did the delphinium reference from your florist for 3 of the darker versions and then 2 of the light white lilac purple color. I borrowed the rose colors from the ombré bouquet you liked. Those rosey peach undertoned flowers in that and tried to borrow almost every color from the ombré bouquet we agreed on. Except for adding in the delphiniums and overall I think the background color and incorporation of all colors seems to cross reference each other.
